Manchester United now stand a better chance of signing Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale in the summer as the Los Blancos are reportedly set to sell the player in a ‘shocking but low’ price.
Manchester United have been chasing after the Welshman’s signature since the previous transfer period but all their efforts to bring him to Old Trafford were unsuccessful but according to AS the Red Devils just need to spend £88million this summer to capture their longtime transfer target.
The Spanish media outlet suggested that Madrid seem fed up with Bale’s injury crisis which has prevented the player from reaching his full potentials at Santiago Bernabeu and they are ready to sanction his move out of the club so as to create more space for incoming players.
Manchester United whose attack didn’t look too impressive this season despite the acquisition of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal last summer, are set to bolster their attacking threat next season and Gareth Bale remains their priority.
With rumours linking both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial out of Old Trafford, this summer, Manchester United manager José Mourinho will be hoping he reunite with the player whom he coached during his time at Santiago Bernabeu in 2013-14.
Playing in the Premier League will surely bring the best out of the player as Mourinho would give more Playing-time to prove his quality unlike the minutes his getting at Madrid where he is out of favour with Zinedine Zidane.
