Chelsea And Man United On Red Alert After Top Target’s Revelations
Tottenham Hotspur star player Toby Alderweireld has recently made it known that he is yet to receive a new contract offer from his London-based club, even though he claimed to be happy to remain with them.
Alderweireld has evolved into one of the best players in the English top flight and has become one of the most important members at Tottenham.
His impressive performances at the White Hart Lane club is understood to have caught the attention of various top English clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, and the Belgian star has been linked with moves to the premier league bigger boys.
According to reports, Toby currently earns just £50,000 each week at Tottenham, which is below what many players at his level are being paid, and will obviously earn more than that if he should make a move to Chelsea, Man United or City.
His current contract with Mauricio Pochettino’s side will expire 2019, even though the club have the option to extend that for another season.
But currently speaking to Sky Sports about his situation at Tottenham, the Belgium international made it known that he is yet to be offered a new contract by his current side, but that he is trying to simply focus on playing football and remain happy at White Hart Lane.
