But ahead of the clash, City boss Pep Guardiola has made it known Sergio Aguero could be sidelined for the game due to injuries.
Pep Guardiola will have the chance to win the premier league if his men can beat the red devils this weekend at home, and the former Barcelona boss will also hope his boys can quickly forget the unpleasant experiences from Wednesday night.
Sergio Aguero last played for the sky blue club on March 4 when they won Chelsea 1-0 in the premier league.
The Argentina international is still nursing injuries, and Pep Guardiola has admitted the player could miss Saturday’s game.
Manchester City are tagged ‘favourites’ to win the game on Saturday, despite being humiliated by Liverpool during the week, and despite Gabriel’s unimpressive performance on Wednesday.
Guardiola suggests the Brazilian can get things done on Saturday even without Aguero.
For Jose Mourinho, he must ensure he pick at least a point from the Manchester Derby – hence, he could see Liverpool snatching the second position away from him.
