While Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti has been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent times, it appears the La Liga heavyweights are also keeping their eyes on the guys at Old Trafford.
According to new reports, the Spanish heavyweights are interested in bringing Luke Shaw down to Camp Nou at the end of this season.
It was made known that Barca intend signing the 22-year-old on a season-long loan.
Shaw is likely to leave the theatre of dreams next summer due to his unpleasant relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.
This season so far, the Englishman has started just 12 games for the red devils. He even exchanged annoyance-filled words with the Portuguese tactician when he was substituted at halftime in his last appearance for the club.
Various clubs have been monitoring his situation at Old Trafford, and The sun made it known that the Camp Nou club are ready to get his signature at the end of this season.
According to The Sun, Barca intend signing Luke on loan so he can provide competition for Jordi Alba at the club.
Meanwhile, Juventus’ Alex Sandro has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, and the Brazilian is expected to replace Shaw at the Theater of dreams. It was speculated earlier this week that the Serie A side are set to sell him for a fee around £52M.
