Bayern Munich star player Arturo Vidal has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, the Chilean international has made known his desire to sign a contract extension with the Bundesliga giants.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on signing a new midfielder when summer comes, and it is understood Vidal is one of the midfielders who has caught his attention.
Mourinho has promised to sign at least one midfielder at the end of this season, and the 30-year-old is one of the names believed to be on the Portuguese tactician’s wish list.
Bayern Munich are bringing in Leon Goretzka from Schalke this summer, and there are reports the German heavyweights won’t mind selling Arturo.
It was even speculated that Manchester United latest signing Alexis Sanchez will do all it takes to persuade his countryman to join him at Old Trafford.
However, Arturo has made known he desires to sign a new deal with Bayern Munich to extend his stay at the club.
Speaking to German news outlet Sport1, the South American player said he is fine at Bayern Munich and isn’t thinking about a change.
“I feel really good here.” the Chilean said.
