Kalidou Koulibaly

Latest reports reveal that Manchester United have finally begun official discussions with Italian Serie A outfit Napoli over a possible signing of Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

It was reported that there is now an agreement between the club’s executive vice-chairman and manager Jose Mourinho over what and how the winter transfer dealings should look like.

Suggestions are that the former Chelsea boss will now have his way for more additions in his defence line with Kalidou Koulibaly as the major target having already conceded 26 goals in 16 league games.

Kalidou Koulibaly is believed to be one of Europe’s best central defender and has been tipped to solve the defensive problems at the Old Trafford. He is believed to cost the Red Devils the whopping sum of £90 million

However, United are at a safe side knowing that Kalidou Koulibaly is also interested in a move to the Old Trafford which makes the negotiation of personal terms easier to agree upon.

Meanwhile, suggestions are that the deal will eventually fall through with the Italian Serie A side also interested in cashing in on the player so as to fund other transfer deals in the winter window.
