According to reports, the premier league duo of Manchester United and Arsenal are watching Santos star player Yuri Alberto, and are both getting ready to negotiate with his club for his signature.
The talented teenager has been impressive at the club’s youth side and was watched by many top clubs while playing for Brazil’s Under-17 team. His impressive performances at his level have caught the attention of some big European clubs, and Santos should be bracing themselves for more offers for the 16-year-old who has scored 51 goals last year.
And the Sun made it known that the premier league duo of Arsenal and Manchester United are not only interested in the young Brazilian, but have both taken steps to increase their chances of getting Alberto.
Both sides have reportedly been in touch with the player’s agent and they will both continue to keep tabs on him and his development at Santos.
And despite that he is just 16, it was added that his club valued him at a whopping £37.5 million.
The young striker signed his first professional contract with his current side back in July, but is yet to make his senior debut for the club.
Some Italian clubs including Juventus, Inter Milan and AS Roma are also said to be keeping tabs on the youngster.
