Two Premier League sides have joined others in the race to sign Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke when the winter transfer market reopens in the next few weeks.
Solanke, 21, has been on the fringes of the Liverpool team this season.
He has not featured for the Reds this season as he’s the sixth striking option for Liverpool behind Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.
His inactivity with the Merseyside giants in the new campaign has led to transfer talks with several clubs.
Earlier reports claim that former Scottish Premier League (SPL) champions Rangers were interested in taking him on a short-term loan until the end of the season.
It was further revealed that Rangers were the overwhelming favourites with Solanke open to the prospects of linking up with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard at the club.
Steven Gerrard is the Rangers’ boss having been appointed at the start of the season.
Other clubs like West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Turkish giants Galatasaray have also been mentioned as possible transfer destinations for the 21-year-old.
New report from the Daily Express say that the Premier League duo of Huddersfield Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the latest teams to show interest in the England international star.
