Man United, Chelsea handed Coutinho hope

There are still chances for English Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea to secure the signature of Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho from Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona.

Both sides had made frantic efforts in the just-concluded winter window to have Philippe Coutinho return to the Premier League but they failed in their attempt.

Philippe Coutinho is understood to be unhappy at the Camp Nou over his inability to secure a regular playing time as he has been favored behind French forward Ousmane Dembele.

However, Philippe Coutinho has now given the green sign that he would be available soon after admitting that his future at Barcelona is not clear.

He made it clear that nobody knows what will happen in the future when asked if he hopes to remain with the Spanish giants for a longer time.

Philippe Coutinho only left Liverpool to join the La Liga leaders about a year ago in a big money deal but it did not work as planned and he is already thinking of a return.

Manchester United had made inquiries about the availability of the star player before West London outfit Chelsea joined in the race.

However, suggestions are that either of the EPL sides could make another trial for the Brazilian international if the situation at the club continues.
