Former Liverpool star player Suso has been heavily linked with a move back to Anfield ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The talented player has a release clause of €40 Million in his current contract at AC Milan, and there have been speculations that the Merseyside club are ready to get it triggered at the end of this season.
Recently, there are reports circulating in the Spanish media about Suso, and this is taking some interesting twists.
According to Don Balon, the Anfield club are trying to hit back at Real Madrid for their interest in Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool are said to be aware that Suso is on the agenda of Real Madrid this summer. And by signing Suso ahead of the Champions League winners, they believed it would represent a sort of punishment – for Real’s attempts to lure Mohamed Salah to the Bernabeu.
The La Liga heavyweights are keen on signing Suso due to his ‘low’ buyout clause, as they seek to add more quality to their team this summer.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are understood to be leading the race for the player’s signature and it appears Suso would favour a reunion with his former side over a move to Madrid.
