Real Madrid star player Gareth Bale has been consistently in the news recently not only because of his impressive performances against Liverpool on Saturday but also due to his links with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United and Chelsea.
There have been alot of speculations surrounding the Wales international, but there is a new one coming from the English media that is pretty intriguing.
It was made known that Real Madrid have decided to sell the former Tottenham player this summer, and they have told anyone interested in him to pay a record fee for his signature.
Gareth came off the bench on Saturday to help the Spanish giants win the Champions League trophy for the third time on a stretch.
After the game, he made known his desire to get regular playing time and he suggested he could actually leave Real Madrid before next season comes.
And now, there are new reports that Zinedine Zidane’s side will allow him to leave this summer if they get an offer that is close to £200million for his signature.
According to Daily Star, although the European champions are keen on keeping him at the Bernabeu, they will change their mind if they can get such offer for him.
Should any club pay such amount for Bale, the Welshman would become the most expensive player in football – moving past the £198m Paris Saint Germain paid for Neymar’s signature last summer.
