Paris Saint Germain star player Lucas Moura has been heavily linked with a move away from the Paris club in recent times after emerging as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
And the latest being said about him is that Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are considering paying PSG £22million for his signature after giving the Brazilian player a tour of their training ground.
Lucas is free to leave PSG this January and has landed in London to discuss with Spurs about a move.
Unai Emery’s side are desperate to sell some of their players to enable them to avoid a slam from UEFA, and they are demanding £22m for Lucas’ signature.
Moura has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United since the window reopened on the 1st of January, but Mauricio Pochettino is ready to snatch him from Mourinho’s grips.
The Telegraph made it known that Moura has been permitted to visit Tottenham, and he was given a tour of the club’s facilities in London.
Mauricio will, however, need to act quickly to finalise everything as the transfer deadline is almost here – and to also ensure he won’t lose the player to the likes of Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund who are also interested in the Brazilian.
