Manchester United star Eric Baily is desperate to leave the Old Trafford in this January transfer window and Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla are also interested in having his signature.

According to reports, the Spanish La Liga outfit are willing to pay the sum of £40 million to ensure the move of the star player who is bent on leaving the club.

Eric Baily is known for his no-nonsense defending style which is loved by former United boss Jose Mourinho and that is why he was the first signing of the Portuguese international.

However, the Ivory Coast international failed to make an impact in the United team and has become uncomfortable being a Red Devils’ player.

There are suggestions that the Old Trafford side will not allow Eric Baily leave the club anytime soon as he could still be useful to new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is keen to make a difference at the club.

The Red Devils decided on the former player as the intermit boss following the sack of Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho some weeks back.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impactful since taking charge at the club as he has yet to see any defeat or draw.
