There are fears that experienced goalkeeper Petr Cech is unhappy at the Emirates Stadium and will seek a move away from the North London side Arsenal this winter transfer window.

Petr Cech is currently in his fourth year as a Gunner from West London side Chelsea and was a first team goalkeeper until this season with the coming of manager Unai Emery from French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain.

Emery who arrived at the Emirates Stadium sanctioned the purchase of Bernd Leno from German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and the German international ended up becoming the first choice after some games.

However, the Spanish manager has hinted that Petr Cech might not stay beyond this season by stating that he is not sure if his contract would be renewed.

It is therefore unsure if the decision for a new contract is that of the club or that of the player.

But the former Sevilla boss made it clear that he is in the dark over the situation but will handle it by speaking to the player and the club to know how to go about it.

Meanwhile, there are arguments that Petr Cech should remain at the club because there is yet a replacement for him.
