Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has thrown his weight behind the club in their bid to sign Chelsea forward Eden Hazard this summer.

In his latest interview monitored by the Daily Star, Sergio Ramos backed the quest to sign the Belgian international player.

According to him, Eden Hazard will add immense quality to the current Real Madrid squad.

Real Madrid are expected to spend a club-record transfer fee on Hazard who has one year left on his Chelsea contract.

Chelsea are expected to pay more than the £85.3m transfer of Welsh international star Gareth Bale in the summer of 2013.

Bale joined Real Madrid from North London giants Tottenham Hotspur and Hazard could emulate that move from the Premier League to Spain.

Eden Hazard played what could be his last game for Chelsea during the Europa League final against London rivals Arsenal on Wednesday night.

He scored two goals as Chelsea sealed a Europa League title for the first in seven years when they saw off competition from Portuguese giants Benfica.

Eden Hazard was instrumental to the Blues’ return to Champions League football after he scored 16 league goals in addition to 15 assists as Chelsea finished third at the end of the Premier League season.
