Antonio Rudiger says this Chelsea striker is the next World Best after Lionel Messi

The Winner of this year Ballon D’or will be announced soon but this year is quite different from what it used to be in the past owing to the fact that the award has always been between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

For this year Only Cristiano Ronaldo is present with a new set of nominees which include Luca Modric, Mo Salah, Kylian Mbappe among a host of others.

However, Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger in a latest statement disclosed that his teammate and Belgium international, Eden Hazard is a future winner of the Ballon d’Or.

The defender went on to say that Argentina international and Barcelona star, Lionel Messi is the world best as he further added Eden Hazard is the next World Best after him.

He, however, acknowledged that France international, Kylian Mbappe is also worthy of winning the award as he made use of his speed for France during the world cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to win the Ballon d’Or award this year after which other future players will take over from him and Messi.

The duo of Messi and Ronaldo have dominated the world football for over a decade and it is about time a new player put an end to the duopoly.
