Benfica sporting director has unwittingly admitted that the club could lose their star player Joao Felix in the coming summer transfer window to English Premier League outfit.

This is after he stated that it would be difficult to keep hold of the star as the interest seems to have been confirmed with a move expected to go down as soon as the current campaign ends.

More so, the attacking midfielder has been interesting a number of top European sides and they are all ready to move in with an offer. The club might be lured into accepting any attractive offer.

Benfica sporting director Rui Costa, therefore, stated that they are ready to do all it takes to keep the 19-year-old who has been impressive this season and has been penned down as a player to hold the club’s future.

He confessed to have received a number of offers for the star player who is referred to as the “new Kaka” noting that he has been overwhelmed by the calls because the clubs are already aware that Joao Felix is an extraordinary player who can pose a threat to any team in the world.

At 19, Joao Felix has got a release clause of £120 million but the club is still insisting that he would remain at the club like any other player.
