Eden Hazard hint at leaving Stamford Bridge following alleged contract rejection
Hazard set to break heart of fans
Chelsea superstar forward Eden Hazard has fuelled transfer rumours as he admits putting on the white shirt of La Liga giants Real Madrid is every footballer’s dream.
Though the Belgium international forward also stressed he would be glad to remain at Stamford Bridge, this quote follows rumours that the attacker could be looking for a route out of the West London club and to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Recently, Marca suggested Eden Hazard’s Dad offered his son to the Spanish side before the UEFA Champions League final match in May, while Don Balon suggested that the 27-year-old attacker, valued at about £88million, had turned down a new deal at Chelsea.
Chelsea fans worried
Blues supporters could have some cause for worry as their team is now out of the UEFA Champions League for next season, which means convincing big-name players like Eden Hazard to stay will certainly be much more of a challenge.
The Ex-Lille playmaker also has a deal until the summer of 2020, which means it will not be too long before they are unable to demand a big transfer fee for him if he doesn’t renew that deal.
“Does Real (Madrid) make me (Eden Hazard) dreamless without Zinedine Zidane?” Eden Hazard told TV Broadcasters beIN SPORTS, as cited by the Daily Star.
