Jasper Cillessen ready to agree to Liverpool’s transfer

Merseyside giants Liverpool have to bring in a new goalkeeper to man the goal next season if they are to challenge for the English Premier League title.

The likes of Karius and Mignolet are not good enough and in that case, Jurgen Klopp must act as fast as possible to bring in a quality shot-stopper for the first team.

Barcelona star and Netherland international Jasper Cillessen has been constantly linked with Liverpool for quite some time now and the latest news claim that the Ex- Ajax player is ready to agree to a transfer to Anfield.

The 29-year-old is handling two different offers presently but Sport publication have only mentioned Liverpool and claimed that if the Reds make a solid transfer move then Cillessen will ask FC Barcelona to let him join Liverpool.

The Spanish publication have also reported a story about the Dutch star on their online platform. In that website report, the Merseysider’s have not been named.

However, Sport have claimed that the Spanish La Liga champions would gladly accept a bid of 30 million euros for the goalkeeper, who has got a buyout clause of £53million in his deal.

Cillessen played 11 matches across all competitions for FC Barcelona last term, kept 8 clean sheets and let in only 3 goals.
