According to Italian media reports, Spanish la Liga giants Real Madrid are prepared to beat Premier League giants Manchester United to the landing of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Serie A side Lazio this summer transfer window.
Real Madrid prepared huge offer
Italian publication Il Messaggero, as cited by the Daily Express, is claiming that La Liga giants Real Madrid are preparing a huge £132m offer to try and sign the 23-year-old midfielder this summer transfer window.
As per the same report, the Red Devils want to land Milinkovic-Savic this summer window but the club is well aware that Serie A side Lazio value him at about £100m.
Man United are interested in trying to bring him to Manchester this summer window, but the same article says that the club will now struggle to equal the Los Blanco’s determination to attempt to sign him.
Real Madrid willing to match demands
As per to the same report, the Bernabeu giant are set to better Lazio’s asking price in order to stave off interest from Old Trafford in the midfielder.
This interest is coming after Real Madrid name Lepetegui as their new boss following manager Zinedine Zidane’s stance to leave the club at the end of the campaign.
