How Chelsea midfield have cleared all doubts

In the early games of the 2018/19 football season, different doubts came up about the Blues squad.

Some of the doubts include; will Chelsea be able to perform without Eden Hazard? Can the midfielders score goals? Can Maurizio Sarri rely on the Blues striker for more goals? The doubts went on and on.

But in the Blues last two games in the Uefa Europa League match against BATE Borisov and in the EPL match against Burnley, the midfield players have made some points that have cleared all doubt.

In the last two matches, Chelsea current highest goalscorer, Eden Hazard was not available for the match but to the surprise of many, the Blues picked up the three points with high numbers of goals.

Chelsea midfielders have shown that they can score goals too; the duo of Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have proved that point, and now Coach Maurizio Sarri will be expecting more goals from his midfielders.

Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata has also cleared the doubt surrounding him to some extent, the Spain international put up a great performance during the game against Burnley.

In fact, the Blues squad were the best side against Burnley but the midfield was superb.

With Kante and Jorginho already having the two spots in the midfield to themselves, the trio of Ross Barkley, Matteo Kovacic, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will have to battle for the third spot.
