Premier League clubs keen on Dutch star
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, as cited by the Daily Mail, is claiming that there is English Premier League interest in the Dutch star in the summer window.
The same report says that the Reds are looking to seek a permanent player to take on the first-choice position in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Chelsea set to replace Courtois
As per the same report, the Blues are already planning to replace Belgium international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois with the Real Madrid target thought to be interested in a return to Madrid this summer window.
Jasper Cillessen has three seasons remaining on his current deal with Catalan side Barcelona but the Netherland international safe hand has played deputy to Germany international goalkeeper Marc-andre ter Stegen.
Limited playing time at Barcelona
The shot-stopper played one match in the Spanish La Liga and also played in one UEFA Champions League match last term.
However, the goalkeeper did play in nine matches in the Spanish Copa del Rey to help the La Liga champions progress to the final stages of the Cup competition.
