Deal almost done as Manchester United set to table ‘incredible bid’ for the missing midfield maestro

According to reports, Premier League giant Manchester United are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio and are set to table an ‘incredible bid’ for the youngster.

The 21-year-old was impressive for Spain in the recently concluded European U21 Championships after a promising debut campaign at the Santiago Bernabau.

As per Spanish outlet Don Balon, the Spanish international is a transfer target for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United as well as rivals Arsenal are reportedly ready to sign Asensio and are hoping to tempt him to the Premier League with promises of regular game time.

The Real midfielder spent last term stuck behind Superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema in the pecking order but still managed to find the back of the net 10 times in 38 La Liga matches.

Serie A Champions Juventus are also reported to be keenly interested in the starlet.

Manchester United are still being linked with a move for PSG’s Marco Verratti and Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.

United’s hopes of landing the 24-year-old holding midfielder have hit the rocks as the Ligue 1 side are requesting Anthony Martial as part of the transfer deal.

However, not all hope has been lost and Jose Mourinho is continuing talks with PSG in the hope they can agree on a transfer fee.
