Chelsea won West Brom on Saturday in the premier league, and are now set to clash with Qarabag in the Champions League this week.
When both clubs met for the first leg back in September, the West London club scored 6 times to humiliate the Azerbaijan based club.
Qarabag are currently at the bottom of the table, and we expect Chelsea to win the game without much hassles.
And as far as Chelsea’s team news is concerned, we are looking towards seeing some few changes to the starting eleven that faced the Baggies last weekend.
Pedro Rodriguez is likely to get back into the starting XI against Qarabag, and the former Barcelona man should partner Eden Hazard to support lone striker Alvaro Morata in front of goal.
We also expect to see summer signing Danny Drinkwater in action tomorrow. The England international is likely to get the nod to start with talented Frenchman N’Golo Kante in the center of the park for the premier league champions.
The trio of Cahill, Christensen and Azpilicueta should start in the back line.
With Courtois taking care of the woodwork, here is Chelsea’s strongest possible 3-4-3 starting XI vs Qarabag.
GK – Courtois
DC – Cahill
DC – Christensen
DC – Azpilicueta
ML – Alonso
MC – Drinkwater
MC – Kante
MR – Zappacosta
AC – Hazard
AC – Pedro
FC – Morata
