Deal Almost Agreed! Liverpool on the verge to land Brazilian playmaker

According to Brazilian media reports, Merseyside giants Liverpool are eyeing a deal to land Lucas Paqueta as an alternative to Nabil Fekir.

Liverpool keen on Paqueta
Brazil publication CalcioInsider, as cited by the Daily Mirror, is claiming that Liverpool are ready to go back for Lucas Paqueta to further strengthen their attacking options this current summer.

The same report says that manager Jurgen Klopp sees Lucas Paqueta as an alternative to Lyon star Fekir after a transfer deal to land the France international player collapsed this month.

As per the same report, Lucas Paqueta would be open to meeting his National team compatriot Roberto Firmino at Anfield Stadium in the summer window.

The 20-year-old has netted three times and has provided four assists in 15 matches for Brazil outfit Flamengo to earn reviews and interest from some top European sides.

Liverpool to battle other suitors for Brazilian
The Reds could face stiff competition for the South American after another report claimed that the talented playmaker had travelled to the City of London to hold discussions with suitors about a £43million move to Europe.

Liverpool are in fourth position on the English Premier League log last term to ensure their UEFA Champions League participation ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Reds landed Brazil international star Fabinho in a £40million transfer deal from French side Monaco earlier in the month.
