Confirmed: Marina Granovskaia working alongside Abramovich on these deals

Chelsea recruitment director Marina Granovskaia is thought to be presently working alongside Abramovich on completing the signing of a couple of transfer targets.

Major reinforcement expected at Chelsea
The West London outfit have yet to sign any player in the current window, though a £35m bid for defender Daniele Rugani from Juventus has been made.

Others on Chelsea’s transfer wish-list include Leon Bailey, Jamaal Lascelles Jean Michael Seri and Anthony Martial. If Italian tactician Sarri is finally named as expected, the former Napoli head coach will also ask the Blues to pursue a couple of his ex-players at the Serie A club.

Morata set to leave
The Blues could also be in the transfer market for another forward amid reports that the agent of Alvaro Morata is meeting with Blues Chiefs next week to confirm the striker wants to leave Stamford Bridge.

The club expects the Spain international striker to resume training on July 9 with the remainder of the team that are not at the World Cup in Russia.

Alvaro Morata signed for a club transfer record £58million from la Liga giants Real Madrid last summer window, but struggled heavily to make a major impact in England.

The forward ended the campaign with 15 goals but was left out of the team frequently in favour of winter signing from Arsenal Olivier Giroud.
