Lee Grant has been in the news in recent times due to his links with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, and it was speculated that the red devils would make him their third signing of the summer.
According to reports, the red devils are likely to sign Lee as their third-choice shot-stopper for next term.
The 35-year-old is an experienced goalkeeper who has proved his worth against various top English clubs in time past.
Jose Mourinho’s side are seeking for a backup option for the duo of David De Gea and Sergio Romero at the Theater of Dreams. The management desire sending their academy goalies on loan to enhance their development.
Joel Pereira was the club’s number three goalkeeper last term, but it was made known that he will be sent on loan this summer to enable him get regular playing time elsewhere.
Sam Johnstone would have been another good option. The youngster was impressive at Aston Villa last season, but he made known his intention to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis.
