It’s a new dawn at Arsenal as Unai Emery replaced French boss Arsene Wenger after the French tactician’s 22 years at the North London club.

Emery prepares the  team for their first match
There is only over a week until the Spaniard leads the Gunners as their boss for the very first time.

Arsenals first pre-season friendly match is billed for 14 July, versus Boreham Wood, before the Gunners visit the far East – Singapore to play La Liga side Atletico Madrid 12 days after.

Arsenal supporters are glad to see how Unai Emery gets the side playing, after 22 seasons of having Arsene Wenger, in charge of the club.

New dawn
This is a new dawn at the Emirates, and the former Sevilla and PSG coach has moved fast to reinforce the team he inherited, with transfer deal to land defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, from Serie A side Juventus, and goalkeeper Bernd Leno, from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, already sealed.

Further summer moves are expected before the window closes, and Unai Emery will hope to get his lads performing as he wants.

The new Gunners boss is expected to utilize his preferred 4-2-3-1 system at the North London club, despite playing consistently to a 4-3-3 set up while in charge of Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain.
