Matthijs de Ligt

The English Premier League outfit Man United now have new hope of landing their star target and Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt with claims that they have improved their offer for him.

Matthijs de Ligt has been on the radar of a number of top European sides with Barcelona reported to be leading in the race while the Merseyside outfit Liverpool are also keen but the Red Devils have never given up on their chances of landing their star player.

It was earlier believed that the Spanish LA Liga outfit are also close to sealing a deal for the star player but that might not happen as it has been revealed that there is no deal in place for the star player.

However, latest reports claim that the Red Devils have now submitted an improved offer with manager Ole Gunnar Solsjajer desperate to land a solid defender in his bid to prepare a new and formidable team for the coming season.

It was earlier reported that the Red Devils had offered Matthijs de Ligt a yearly pay of £14 million which he turned down but the latest report claims that the offer has been significantly improved which is enough to lure the star player into accepting a deal.
