Several premier league sides are keen to take Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a short-term loan when the winter transfer window reopens in few weeks time.
Loftus-Cheek has failed to break into the Chelsea starting XI since he returned to the club in the summer thus leading to intense transfer rumours about his short-term future at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old spent the entirety of last season on loan at fellow London side Crystal Palace.
Loftus-Cheek impressed a great deal for the Eagles in the last campaign and his form earned him a spot in the England squad to this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in the European nation of Russia.
He was part of the team that finished in fourth position at the tournament.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek was expected to feature heavily for Chelsea under new boss Maurizio Sarri but he has not been given much opportunities.
The young English midfielder has made just nine appearances for Chelsea this season in all competitions.
Despite his limited playing time, the player has been able to score five goals in those games.
This includes two Premier League goals in just four appearances.
Many English top flight sides are interested in him.
West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Newcastle United are all keen on Loftus-Cheek alongside German Bundesliga side Schalke 04.
