Chelsea Initiate Loan Recall Talks Over Striker

Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly begun talks with English Championship side Aston Villa about a loan recall for one of their players.

Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has been making the headlines following his goalscoring exploits with Aston Villa in the Championship.

Nigerian-born English striker Tammy Abraham is on a season-long loan deal at Villa Park.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the Blues want the striker to return to Stamford Bridge for the second half of the season.

Tammy Abraham is on a year-long loan deal at the Midland clubs but parent club Chelsea reserve the right to terminate the loan contract.

The former Swansea City and Bristol City player has been in sensational form for Aston Villa this season.

He has already scored 11 goals in the colours of Aston Villa since he joined the club before the end of this summer’s transfer window.

His goal tally includes a four-goal salvo during the 5-5 draw with Nottingham Forest last month.

The form shown by Tammy Abraham is in stark contrast to the one shown by the Blues strikers in the new Premier League season.

Chelsea strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have failed to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.
