18-time English champions Liverpool are ready to sacrifice their most experienced player in their quest to sign one of their transfer targets according to reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

Young English winger Jack Clarke has been in very good form for Premier League chasers Leeds United since he broke into the first team of the Championship club this season.

The 18-year-old has attracted the interest of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as a result of his impressive outings for Leeds United in the second tier of English football.

According to the report from popular media portal TeamTalk, Liverpool are ready to offer experienced midfielder James Milner in their quest to sign Jack Clarke.

Milner, 33, has been a wonderful servant for Liverpool since he joined the club as a free agent after leaving Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer of 2015.

He was part of the Manchester City team that won the Premier League title in both the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons.

James Milner has scored 15 goals in 117 Premier League appearances since he joined the Reds in the summer of 2015.

He could be used as a makeweight in the deal for Leeds United star Jack Clarke in the summer.
