Chuba Akpom has finally left Arsenal for Greek side, PAOK following his 16-year stay at the club.

The 22-year-old striker joined Arsenal at the age of six, going on to become one of the club’s hottest prospects. But has failed to live up to expectations, going on loan six times under former boss, Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal new boss, Unai Emery has now allowed the Nigerian forward leave the club for good in order to try his hands in other leagues

Akpom, who only featured for the Gunners’ first team 12 times, failed to score in any senior competitive game.

His most recent loan deal was at Belgian side, Sint Truden, where he scored six times in 16 games having toiled at the likes of Brentford, Coventry, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Brighton.

Akpom’s deal to PAOK is believed to be in the region of £2 million, although Sint Truden were said to have tried to sign him on a permanent deal before the Greek side.

In other news, Arsenal fans were thrown into a social media frenzy over the picture of Ousmane Dembele with four Gunners stars.

The French winger who has been linked with a move to the Emirates, was pictured with Pierre Emerich Aubamenyang, Matteo Guendonzi, Alexandre Lacazette and Henrikh Mhkitaryan fueling speculations that the winger could be on his way to Arsenal.
