Chelsea give Man Utd major hope over Willian transfer Chelsea are ready to allow Brazilian attacker, Willian leave the Stamford Bridge this summer in order to get more transfer funds, according to reports.

The 28-year-old has been tipped to fancy a move away from the Blues after getting frustrated at his lack of chances under Antonio Conte who has preferred Spanish winger Pedro on the right wing attack.

Willian won the Player of the year award for the Blues last season due to his brilliant displays which earned him a new deal at the end of last season but his lack of chances could see him leave Chelsea this summer.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be a keen admirer of the Brazilian’s qualities who was a standout performer during the Portuguese’s second stint at the Stamford Bridge while the side fumbled in their defence of Premier League title.

Mourinho bought Willian from Anzhi Makanchala in 2013, and he has proved to be a good addition to the Blues but his current frustrations could lead him out of the club.

Reports in The Times claim that Chelsea are holding out for a £40million fee for William but will be reluctant to allow him join a Premier League rival.

Mourinho is believed to keen on signing several players to his current squad in a bid to better his team’s performances next season
