Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is planning on strengthening his team ahead of next season, and he is already linked with a handful of superb stars. Nevertheless, it appears the Italian manager won’t be ignoring the young talents at his disposal…
According to new reports, the former Juventus manager has got high hopes for two of the club’s top defensive prospects.
Captain and legend John Terry is set to officially leave Stamford Bridge at the end of this season, and it was rumoured that Kurt Zouma will be allowed to go out on loan at the end of this season.
And so, the Italian manager has decided to keep hold of the Chelsea duo of Nathan Ake and Andreas Christensen ahead of next term.
Over the past two years, both Ake and Christensen have enjoyed loan spells away from the west London side.
Nathan in particular was even recalled to Stamford Bridge in January from Premier League rivals Bournemouth, just in case the boss needed him for the title run-in.
And the Mirror reported that the premier league leaders are determined to have Ake and Christensen at their disposal next season.
In recent times, the two young talents have been linked with moves within the English top flight and beyond.
And as things stands now, Kurt seem to be the only defender Chelsea boss want to send out on loan when summer comes.
