Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand is reportedly attracting the interest of two major European sides according to the latest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

The former Chelsea left-back has previously been linked with Premier League champions Manchester City but he has new suitors besides the English top flight.

According to the specific publication from the stables of the Daily Mail, Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Italian Serie A club Inter Milan are keen on a summer move for Ryan Bertrand.

The 29-year-old has two years left on his current deal with the Saints and the Premier League club is interested in the sale of Ryan Bertrand.

It was revealed that Southampton will demand £15m for the former Chelsea defender though the two aforementioned European teams are confident that they can get their transfer target for £10m.

Ryan Bertrand was part of the Chelsea team that won the 2012 Champions League final in Munich.

Chelsea won the Champions League title for the first time in their history after they defeated German champions Bayern Munich via penalties.

Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan are both in need of a new left-back ahead of the new season.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have lost the services of Lucas Hernandez to Bayern Munich and Bertrand could be his replacement.
