Liverpool have received a major boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Spanish champions Barcelona following the return to training of star forward Roberto Firmino.
The Reds travel to the Nou Camp to take on Barcelona and the aforementioned Firmino was a doubt for the game having missed the last match, a 5-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.
Roberto Firmino missed the home league clash with Huddersfield Town on Friday night because of an ankle problem.
Earlier reports had claimed that he will miss the rest of the season though Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was quick to refute those claims.
The Reds boss was optimistic that Brazilian international Firmino will be fit to face Barcelona.
Klopp has now been vindicated after Roberto Firmino returned to Liverpool training at Melwood on Tuesday.
He was seen in an open training with his Liverpool teammates ahead of the Champions League first leg semifinal meeting with Barcelona.
Roberto Firmino has formed a formidable attacking trio with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah at Liverpool for the last two seasons.
The Brazilian forward has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the Reds this term.
Just like Salah and Mane, Roberto Firmino has scored four goals for the Reds in the Champions League this season.
