Diego Costa’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches.
However, in a recent interview, the Spanish forward admits he could leave Stamford Bridge, and that he hopes Everton forward Romelu Lukaku signs for Chelsea.
Romelu looks set to leave Everton this summer after he told the Toffees management earlier in the season that he did not plan to extend his deal at Goodison Park.
The Belgian forward finished the campaign with 25 goals in the premier league and he narrowly missed out on the Golden Boot award to Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
A number of clubs have expressed interest in him, but it is understood that the Premier League champions Chelsea are leading the race. Earlier on, Chelsea Italian boss Antonio Conte has also attest that he is serious about bolstering his squad at Chelsea by utilising the upcoming transfer window. And now, Costa wants a big star like Lukaku to come over to Chelsea if he should leave.

Diego Costa is expected to leave the west London club during the upcoming transfer window. Even though he was heavily linked with the Chinese Super League during the past January transfer window, there are indications that his next destination could be the Spanish La Liga, to reunite with his former Spanish club, Atletico Madrid.
