Liverpool Ahead Of Man Utd In Race To Sign 18-Year-Old Talent

Five-time European champions Liverpool are the front-runners in the race to sign Leeds United star Jack Clarke according to various reports coming out of the British media.

The Daily Mirror claim that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has already sent scouts to watch the player in action on several occasions since he burst onto the scene at the start of this season.

Jack Clarke has excelled a great deal at Leeds United with the guidance of experienced manager Marcelo Bielsa.

Liverpool are ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign the English winger who’s widely regarded as one of the most exciting players in the second tier of English football.

The Reds would do well to fend off the threat of rivals Manchester United in their bid to sign Jack Clarke at the end of this season.

The 18-year-old has played a big part as Leeds United try to secure a Premier League spot at the end of this season.

He has scored two goals in addition to two assists in 16 league games for Leeds United this season.

Leeds United are second at the moment and two points behind league leaders Norwich City.

The top two teams will qualify automatically for next season’s Premier League campaign.
