Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly has renewed his contract with Napoli, agreeing a deal to keep him at the club for a further five years. The Blues were known to be keen on the Senegalese defender alongside Everton and had an offer rejected by Napoli in the summer. Koulibaly said in June talks over a new deal had stalled and he would be open to a switch to England, drawing an angry response from Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis. Sunderland have signed goalkeeper Mika from Portuguese club Boavista after FIFA intervention. The Portuguese penned a two-year contract at the Stadium of Light which sees the goalkeeper become the 10th signing since David Moyes took over. The shot stopper is set to battle it out with Jordan Pickford and Vito Mannone for the number one shirt. Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has penned a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest, the club's owner has announced. The striker, who began his professional career at Arsenal, spent nine years at the club between 2005 and 2014, but struggled for first-team football and was shipped out on loan to Birmingham City, Sunderland and Juventus during that time. Werder Bremen acquired Serge Gnabry from Arsenal in a “clever and creative” manner, according to a member of the club’s supervisory board. Gnabry’s exit from Arsenal on deadline day came as a surprise after Arsene Wenger had set he hoped to agree a new deal with the 21-year-old, whose contract at the Emirates was set to expire at the end of the season.
