Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has been linked with a third loan move to fellow London side West Ham United ahead of the January transfer window, which is expected to open on Sunday, the 1st of January, 2017.
The former Charlton Athletic star spent the last two seasons namely the 2014/15 season and the 2015/16 season on loan at London club West Ham United though his second loan spell was cut short by a serious knee injury and as per the report via popular news outlet London Evening Standard the 24-year old could seal a third loan move to Slaven Bilic’s side.
Carl Jenkinson has been on the fringes of the Arsenal team due to the form of Spanish right back Hector Bellerin.
However when Bellerin got injured and Jenkinson got the chance to replace him he didn’t last for long as he was ridiculed by fans at the Emirates Stadium and subsequently on social media for his performance during the 2-0 home loss to Southampton in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup.
Jenkinson’s potential move to West Ham United could however be disturbed by French right back Mathieu Debuchy’s situation at the club.
Debuchy is currently injured until next month however that has not stopped the transfer rumours involving him making a move away from the Emirates Stadium.
If he stays then Jenkinson can get his move while it would be hard for him to move to the Olympic Stadium if Debuchy secures a move from Arsenal.
