It is understood that premier league giants Manchester United are keeping tabs on Lazio star player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic following his impressive performances at his Italian club.

And in a new development, there are reports that the Old Trafford club have been informed that they will need to spend a whopping £75 million to secure the midfielder’s services.

It was said that Man United boss Jose Mourinho is pleased with his scout’s assessment of Sergej, but will face strong competition from rivals Manchester City.

The Sunday Express made it known that City boss Pep Guardiola is also closely monitoring the 22-year-old and that Jose is set to make the Serbian midfielder a ‘leading target’ for his spending spree next year.

His club are understood to be aware of his rising value and are open to cashing out on him next summer.

A few days ago, his agent Mateja Kezman admits his client is attracting big interest from big sides across Europe. The former Chelsea striker made mention of Real Madrid, Manchester United and AC Milan while speaking to Radio CRC about the talented player earlier this week.

‘Sergej wants to be happy [and] to keep growing and become one of the best in his role.’ Kezman said.

However, considering his brilliant start at Lazio this season, it is difficult for the player to want to leave a club where he is shinning and guaranteed of regular football.
