La Liga side set to offer 30-year-old star in exchange for Arsenal superster

According to Daily Star, Spanish La Liga side FC Barcelona are set to offer Premier League side Arsenal Arda Turan including cash for attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil in January.

The Germany international playmaker was at the heart of everything the gunners did well on during the week where he netted once and made two more in their 5-0 victory over Huddersfield.

Barcelona star Ardan Turan has been informed he can leave the Spanish La Liga side after failing to make good impact at the Catalan club, with the Gunners reportedly interested in signing the Turkish international.

FC Barcelona have been strongly linked with the German Ozil for a long time and are readying the bid in hope Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will permit the player to leave the North London club in January, despite the French tactician stating neither the former Real Madrid playmaker or former Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez will be leaving in the New Year, with their contracts running out in the summer.

Both superstars were subject to a number of interest over the last summer but Arsene Wenger refused to cash in as he aimed to keep his best players at the Emirates club to mount a serious title challenge.
