Julian Draxler linked with move to Arsenal in January
According to reports, Arsenal are preparing for the possibility of a winter swap deal, which would see Chilean Alexis Sanchez and German Julian Draxler swap clubs.
Alexis Sanchez will see his Arsenal deal expire next summer, and with no renewal looking likely to being agreed, the forward could move on for nothing in July.
However, Arsenal could look to act fast by getting something done in January, and as per The Daily Star, they could land a good deal with Frech Ligue 1 giant Paris Saint-Germain involving Julian Draxler.
The Germany international attacking midfielder only joined the big spenders in January for a fee thought to be worth £40million, according to The Guardian, and Draxler has done pretty well, netting 11 goals in 33 matches and establishing himself as an important player in the team.
The arrival of Brazil international forward Neymar from Barcelona and Kylian Mbappe in the recently shut summer transfer window has limited Draxler’s playing time.
As per the Star, Wenger’s team almost saw the Chilean join Manchester City for £60million in the summer, and they would surely prefer to see the forward move abroad rather than to a direct Premier League rival.
