Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is understood to have added talented youngster Jake Clarke-Salter to his first-team squad at the club.
The Chelsea starlet had been with the Stamford Bridge club since 2006 and was opportune to make his senior debut last year during Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the premier league.
Jake Clarke-Salter was sent on loan to League One side Bristol Rovers for the 2016/17 season, and he was able to make 13 appearances during his spell at the club.
And according to reports, the 19-year-old has been invited to train with Chelsea’s first-team stars in Cobham this summer.
It seems the teenage defender was able to impress Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, with reports that he has been added to the club’s first-team squad.
The teenager is said to have been given the No.35 shirt at the club, and he will be looking towards getting some more playing time this busy season.
Apart from Jake, it was also added that another 19-year-old starlet – Kyle Scott, has also received promotion into the first-team squad for the 2017/18 season. The midfielder will be adorning the No.36 shirt this season for the premier league champions.
Considering that Chelsea will be having a very busy campaign by playing in different competitions this season, it is very likely these youngsters will be given chances to prove themselves in lesser competitive games.
