Marcus Rashford picked up a knock last Saturday against Huddersfield Town at Old Trafford.
But according to new reports, the red devils are confident the Englishman will be fit to participate in their next premier league game against Newcastle United this weekend.
Marcus was thrown into the game against Huddersfield in the 71st-minute, but the talented player felt pain in his leg before full-time.
And it was made known that the 20-year-old will be monitored by the club’s medical team this week and that they are hopeful the player will be able to travel with the rest of the guys to clash with Newcastle this weekend.
The England international has played 36 games for Manchester United so far this season, and he has scored 12 times with 5 assists.
Recently, manager Jose Mourinho promised he won’t allow Alexis Sanchez’s arrival at Old Trafford to hinder Rashford’s progress and development at the club.
Manchester United will hope to earn all three points in the game against Rafa Benitez’s side, although the likes of Eric Bailly, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t be available for the game.
Both Ibrahimovic and Fellaini will be out of contract at Manchester United at the end of this season, and both are expected to leave Old Trafford next summer.
