Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall have completed their season-long loan switch to Birmingham.

The duo of Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall have been deemed surplus to requirements at the North London club this season.

Carl Jenkinson, who has played 38 league matches for Arsenal, was loaned out to West Ham United, where he spent two campaigns. He stayed back at Arsenal last season but managed to play just five matches in all competitions for the Gunners.

The 25-year-old defender has three seasons left on his current Arsenal deal.

Cohen Bramall joined the Emirate club in January from non-league side Hednesford Town in a move that caught a lot of attention.

Last season the left-sided player worked with the youth team and just some days ago looked as if he might be handed a chance with the Arsenal senior team after he was given a squad number.

However, Bramall also heads to the Championship side Birmingham.

Their switch follows the recent surprising exit of defender Gabriel, who left for La Liga side Valencia, as the Arsenal manager looks to cut down his squad.

Both players will work under the tutelage of former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp who is now the manager at St Andrew’s.

Birmingham has won only one of their four matches this new season and sit 15th on the log.
