It has been made known that Manchester United may be without Marouane Fellaini when they clash with Arsenal on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
The Belgian midfielder is said to have missed his side’s 4-2 win over Watford on Tuesday night due to a knee problem.
The former Everton star was sidelined for a month after he sustained an injury on his knee while playing for Belgium last month.
Marouane made his return earlier this month and featured for his side when they clashed with premier league champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and manager Jose Mourinho heaped lots of praise on the Belgian for working hard to complete his comeback.
But HLN’s Kristof Terreur (via Metro) insisted Marouane was not part of the Man United party that defeated Watford 4-2 on Tuesday night, due to a problem on his knee.
However, it was also said that the extent of his injury has not been revealed by the Old Trafford club.
Jose’s injury headache was made worse at Vicarage Road after summer signing Nemanja Matic was forced off during the 4-2 premier league game.
The Serbia international is also a doubt to face the North Londoners this weekend, with Jose admitting already that the player’s injury was not a minor one.
Arsenal can take advantage of Man United’s injury woes to earn all three points when they clash with the red devils this Saturday.
