Arsenal legend Gilberto Silva has urged Manchester United to be patient with his Brazilian counterpart Fred, stating that he will soon find his mojo back.

The Brazilian international had a big money move to the Old Trafford but has failed to impresses with concerns already being made about his slow start of life at the club.

Fred joined the Red Devils from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer with a fee of £52 million but he is yet to win a starting place in the Jose Mourinho team despite the huge investments made on him.

According to Gilberto Silva, it is only a matter of time for the Brazilian to adapt to life at the club and start making the impact he was bought to make.

The Gunners legend expressed confidence in Fred, adding that he has shown a strong character in the past which will soon be displayed in the English Premier League.

Gilberto Silver noted that football in the English league is a different ballgame because all players find it difficult to adapt until they are able to pass through some period of time.

However, the Reds Devil are not looking forward to disposing Fred at the moment as they have decided to hand him some time to settle well in the team.
