Fabinho on his way out as Klopp identifies replacement

Jurgen Klopp led Five-time European champions Liverpool have mooted the idea of selling summer signing Fabinho to fund the transfer for a German Bundesliga star according to various reports in the British media.

Fabinho who joined the Merseyside giants in the summer after the club paid around £40m to secure his signature from French League 1 side AS Monaco has not had the best of the season in England thus far.

According to the report by popular English news outlet Daily Mirror, Liverpool want to fund the transfer for Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic by selling Brazilian international player Fabinho.

Ever since his move to Liverpool during the summer’s transfer window, Fabinho has struggled to impose himself on the Reds midfield.

He started the new season out of the starting XI with the midfield quartet of Giorginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Naby Keita ahead of him in the pecking order.

Fabinho has started the last three games in the Premier League due to the respective hamstring injuries suffered by the aforementioned duo of Henderson and Keita.

His recent involvement in the Liverpool starting XI has not stopped him from being linked with a move away from the club.

The out of favour player has been linked with clubs like Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and AC Milan.

The aforementioned report claimed that the Reds are bidding to use the money from the sale of Fabinho to fund a £70m transfer for Pulisic who is also a transfer target for rivals Chelsea.
